DIY: Scratch off card preview!!!

Yes, I know Valentine's day was 2 days ago, but I also know of many couples celebrating this weekend, so I figured it was still OK to post this :)

This Valentine's day, I decided to go the "homemade" route and make a gift for my bf!!!  Thanks to the wonderful website, Pinterest, I found a DIY scratch off card!!  This was prefect be my bf loves scratch off lottery tickets!!!  

This is what mine turned out to look like!!!

as you can see, he picked the right heart!!!

It is super easy and the bf thought it was the coolest idea ever!!! He was so amazed that it was actually a scratch off card!!!

I left my camera at home, so hopefully tonight, or maybe tomorrow I will post the complete how-to!!!

Fabulous 5 Friday: Lilly Lover

This past weekend in Raleigh, my friends and I did a little shopping, and we went to the Lilly Pulitzer store, Palm Avenue.  This store is FANTASTIC, it is any Lilly lover's dream come true!!!  Not only do they sell fabulous women's and kid's clothing, but they also sell shoes, furniture, stuff for you house, everything!!!  If it is Lilly you will find it there!!!  But that is not all, the way each Lilly store is decorated beyond belief!!!  I can honestly say that I would decorate every room in my future home to look like the Lilly store!!!  I seriously considered asking the sales woman if I could by some of the prints that they had hanging in the dressing room!!   

So visiting the Lilly store in Raleigh is my inspiration for this week's Fab 5 Friday post.  Here are 5 of my favorite Lilly products!!!! (it was super hard to only pick five!!!)
